Programme

See link to full programme above.  The weekend will include four 90-minute yoga classes taught by yoga teacher, Sherin Shefik, who will mainly teach vinyasa flow yoga, but also combines lots of different styles of yoga into her teaching, (including yin, restorative, hatha, ashtanga, acro and partner yoga). The classes are suitable for all levels. Each class will be designed around one of four natural elements: earth (grounding), air (opening), fire (igniting) and water (letting go). Click here for more information about how the natural elements will be incorporated into the classes.

There will longish walks, of about 3-5 miles with a packed lunch each day, or you can chose to browse the area yourselves with maps provided of the area and shorter walks.

There are numerous mindfulness meditations, practices and discussions, which will be led by mindfulness teachers Deborah Wharton and Shenel Shefik. There will be other diverse and exciting activities on the programme too, a poetry workshop (where you will get to try your hand at writing a poem), mindful dance (you might be given a blind-fold!), and a life coaching workshop. We have an excellent local practitioner of massage and reflexology and she can be booked in advance or on site for additional cost. She will also be delivering the gong bath at the end for an extra £10 per head for those who want to stay.

The variety and fullness of this programme means that there is something for everyone, whether you come alone or with your partner or friends/family. All sessions are, of course, optional so you can pick and choose as you flow through the weekend.

Food

Home-cooked food has much of the ingredients locally-sourced. There is always a vegetarian option and other diets can be catered if ordered in advance. Wines, beers and a variety of soft drinks are available to purchase with your evening meal.
